Through a referral, I ended up with an appointment with Dr. Holtzclaw. He is a rare breed of practitioner: young, familiar with advanced, modern dentistry, yet also very experienced, meticulous and personable. Dr. Holtzclaw will professionally advise you of your options and provide objective, evidence-based suggestions for treatment where applicable.
Dr. Holtzclaw and staff at Simpsonville Family Dentistry are caring and professional. Whether it's a 6 month check-up and cleaning or an intricate dental procedure they take the time to answer my questions and never make me feel like I'm bothering them. My whole family has been patients for years and it's clear they care about our well-being. When our insurance wouldn't cover cancer screenings they took the charge off the bill. When one of our kids broke a tooth on a holiday weekend Dr. Holtzclaw met us at his office ASAP. When another of our children began to have severe overcrowding of teeth Dr. Holtzclaw helped us find an excellent and caring orthodontist who would also work with our budget. We're not a paycheck to Simpsonville Family Dentistry, they really want to help us achieve the best dental health possible.
In the years since my first visit to Simpsonville Family Dentistry, my family and friends in the area have become patients, as well . I cannot recommend them enough if you live in the area and need a family dentist.

The SFD truly makes "going to the dentist" as pain-free an experience as is possible. Their new building is clean and in a great location and The practice has some of the "latest and greatest" tools available for achieving the best results possible, but even the best tools are useless if not wielded by experienced, skilled hands and that is what you will find here. If there is an issue that Dr. Holtzclaw and his team cannot provide assistance with, he has curated a fantastic network of orthodontists, endodontists and the like that share his team's commitment to quality work done right the first time.
