We are so pleased with Primrose! Our daughters truly love going to school each day and we know they are receiving wonderful care. I am surprised at how much my daughters are learning and enjoy seeing pictures of them throughout the day to make me feel like I am part of their day. The school is operated in a professional manner but at the same time feels like a family as everyone knows you by name. We came from another daycare where we were not at all dissatisfied but had no idea how great a school could be until we came to Primrose!
We absolutely ADORE our Primrose family! Our girls would not be where they are without them. They take such pride in their school and I couldn't be more proud to be part of such an amazing program. I am so thankful to have such wonderful people loving on our babies day in and day out!
My wife and I put in our two week notice at our child care provider because our child would start at Primrose at the end of the month. We paid our deposit and filled out all required enrollment paperwork. My wife requested a "discovery day" in order to introduce our son to his new school and surroundings. His "discovery day" was scheduled for a Friday and his first official day would be the following Monday. My wife and son enjoyed the "discovery day", however, less than three hours after they got home the assistant director called, and said that, "they did not feel our child would be a good fit for their school." I believe this day should now be called, "The Crucible." At no point during the enrollment process were we told that enrollment was contingent upon feed back from the teacher on "discovery day." Our son was only in the classroom for four hours. Little did we know
His every move was being picked apart by the teachers. This has created an enormous amount of stress for us as my wife and I will be taking the next week off from work to find another school for our son. What should have been an amazing experience has now turned into a profoundly devestating one, and all with no solid explanation. No parent should ever have to be put in this position.
We have been with Primrose School of Simpsonville at Five Forks since their first day and have been so happy with our decision. The areas where Primrose stands out from the rest includes: The flexibility of pickup/drop off. Unlike any other daycare we have seen in the area! Other schools usually have times around nap time that will prevent a parent from coming and going. We are in the real world as working parents and cannot work around another schedule, so this flexibility is HUGE! Also, the food for the children is provided and always has healthy options incorporated so there is no need for me to worry about my child's nutrition. Lastly, the staff is incredible! From their gentleness as a baby to their discipline taught as they grow, my child has learned so many life skills quickly which helps us at home as well.
Our little one started at Primrose from their first opening day. He absolutely LOVES his school and everyone he has contact with during his day. We bring in a happy guy each morning and we pick up a happy, tired boy each evening, as he hugs each friend on the way out. Primrose makes each class transition seamless and he hasn't met a teacher he hasn't fallen in love with (and us too!) We highly recommend this loving, clean school that leads each child through the highest standard curriculum, encouraging thriving, happy and deeply cared for young children to come home, having learned new things each day, with much to talk about. In addition, they utilize the app, Tadpoles, allowing the parents to receive pictures throughout the day and constant, detailed communication of your child's day.
