I received a pair of gold earrings for Christmas 2014. In less than three weeks and a handful of times wearing them, one of the closures failed and I lost the earring. I brought in the remaining earring to show how the clasp could fail and asked what they could do. I was told because my husband did not purchase additional insurance, they would do nothing. I asked for the manufacturer's name, so I could contact them and was told they had no way of knowing who the manufacturer was, which I find hard to believe. I really felt that this shows exceptionally poor quality merchandise, and poor customer service. I would hope merchandise priced over $200 should last longer than three weeks. Complete waste of money, we will never shop at Kay again.
They were extremely helpful. We were looking for a ring and they had it. However, the one they had the center stone had a visible imperfection. I told them I did not want that particular one. The manager ordered in 3 more for me to look at. One of them was absolutely perfect! She helped me determine the size that I needed and sent it off. It came back a couple weeks later and it is wonderful! I went back another time because I had bought a watch somewhere else that needed some links taken out. They did it without charging any extra. The staff also remembered us when we came back. They are extremely nice, helpful, and personable!

Shopped for a plain gold men's wedding band, and was quoted TWICE as much as Clark's Fine Jewlery down the street. Avoid Kay at all costs. Looks like you spell Krooks with a K too...
