I want to make clear that I am not being mean in the following, I'm being honest and just giving corrective criticism. I like my result from my haircut today with Maddy. It looks great and she took a lot of weight off my hair without having to take to much length off at the same time. I really like the way it turned out. But from experience with my own hair and having amazing stylists (rank 10) in the past that I've lost contact with and horrible ones (rank 1) I never want to see again, she ranked at a 7 for me. I would go back, but a few things I would like her to change would be, to just PLEASE be a little more gentle with my scalp. I'm not sure what it is about hairstylist's I've been to lately, it's like they want to go so fast that they're willing to risk hurting their clients. I did not enjoy the shampooing, she was going really fast and rough on my scalp.. She also tried to do a massage on my scalp and it just hurt. When we got back in the chair, my hair was badly tangled from the wash and she combed it (painful), she kept pulling up on my hair as to "fluff it up" so to speak and loosen it up from her combing it, which was also painful...the whole process was just painful. I have a massive headache after my appointment this morning, she's not the first stylist to do this to me. I should've told her something while it was happening, but I didn't want to be rude and awkward. I also didn't care for the way she dried my hair, she didn't section it, she just blew it all around and went through it with her fingers, then used a round brush, another painful process because it was tangled from her blowing it around. The end result is the only reason I am giving 4 stars; if my hair looked bad, I wouldn't have even given 2 stars and would have more negative things to say. It just seems she needs to slow down and not rush as much. I have very thick hair and I have never got out of the chair in an hour before. Hopefully next time will be a better experience with the pain, but other than that my hair is gorgeous and she did an amazing job. Thank you Maddy! :)
I highly recommend Madison. Her shampoos and head massages feel amazing. I love that she takes the time to make sure my highlights and cuts are perfect. My hair is so shinny! Love her!
Beka is AMAZING!!!!! She made me feel 10 years younger with BEAUTIFUL hair. The salon is gorgeous and she is an instant friend. I HIGHLY recommend Studio B.
OMG! Beka just color corrected my hair (because I totally messed it up), then an all over color with balayage highlights! I feel like it's my birthday! I love it so much! Beka is amazing, I'm so incredibly glad I found her! Highly recommended for color, cut or keratin.
Absolutely amazing. I was looking for someone close to home and found this gem! I saw beka and went in with a couple pictures not sure and she helped me pick one that she thought would go with my skin tone. It's refreshing to find a stylist who's just as excited about your hair as you are. She took time to explain things to me and just all around a down to earth person. She did an amazing job on my eyebrows as well! I will definitely be back and I will be recommending her to everyone. Her prices are very fair as well so even if your on a budget she can definitely help you out!
