Further, upon looking at my bank account withdrawals, I've found that I was overcharged about $5. I did use a debit card, however if there was to be a fee, I was not informed. I'm about to try and find out, but I doubt I'll see that $5.00 again, and right now that little bit of money could mean something to me.
Clerks became defensive and rude and claimed they did not know answers when I asked questions regarding a fine and regulations. When I ask questions it is to gain information and understanding, not to cause trouble. I feel if someone asks me questions at my job pertaining to my line of work, I am, A) required to know the answers or, B) required to find out, if uninformed. We all have bad days and do not want to answer questions, but I felt I was treated with disregard and as a nuisance. This is incredibly frustrating, as I feel as a citizen with concerns that I should rather shut up and stay uniformed as opposed to asking and feeling shamed or that I am seen as an annoying inconvenience.
Overall, very disappointed with the treatment I received. I'm sure it's a tough job, but I find it disdainful to use that as an excuse.
Clerks was very nice, judge is very understanding, best judge I've ever dealt with...
