Maybe it's just because I like a good deal but it doesn't seem like you get much for how much you pay. I don't mind paying more for bigger portions but here you hardly get anything. Food is good but we had a coupon and it was still $40 for two people to just eat. No appetizer or anything extra. Not a good deal in my mind but hey do what you want
Food is Good as always. We have been going there for years now, at least twice a month. Service is good. The only complaint I have this time is that I saw the lady that was pulling down the orders from the window not wearing gloves and touching food. All the kitchen staff were wearing gloves but why not her?? When we go again, I will be watching for this and making sure I tell management.
Simpsonville, SC location: Zero vegetarian options, save the spilled mess of a "55 Ingredient Salad Bar". (Uh, you don't get to count 15 salad dressing choices in that.) I remember back in the late 80s when the Haywood Mall location opened and was really unique and special with its fresh slices of dark bread and honey butter (instead of the lukewarm, dry, oversized roll you SOMETIMES get now) amazing pasta salad on the bar, veggie burgers, and the nostalgic embrace of overall cleanliness. Until eBay comes through with that flux capacitor I've been looking for, I'm steering clear of this chain. The quality has suffered to such a degree - and at more than this one location - that I'm certain its days are numbered.
Much better today than my last visit. Salad bar is excellent and well stocked. The sneeze guards have been updated and raised so tall people can reach in now. Service was good and I nver ran out of soda or water. Price is higher than fast food, but much better.
Great salad bar and the chicken fresco was good and a nice portion. The restaurant was clean, but the booth was terribly small and cramped. None of us were overly large, but my knees banged into the bar underneath due to the lack of room. Our original waiter was very rude and unpleasant when asked about moving and again when I was walking to the salad bar. He needs to be retrained or let go so he can find another job outside of the service industry. The lady that took over for him was a much better server and a nice person and made our experience much more pleasant.
